Nexent
Anti-Virus & Spam Tagging Service
The Nexent Anti-Virus & Spam Tagging Service provides a multi-tier,
single source solution for combating the growing threat of email
borne viruses and SPAM clogging email content being delivered into
business email systems.
The Nexent Anti-Virus
Service
This Internet based Anti Virus service keeps
dangerous email content away from your mail servers by scanning,
blocking and removing virus infected email at the ISP level. Removing
malicious content at the higher ISP layer significantly reduces
the threat of network virus attacks and helps protect precious Internet
bandwidth also.
All SMTP messages from your domain are scanned for
all known viruses and malicious content by three independent virus
scanners. The anti-virus service pattern files are updated every
15 minutes to ensure continuous protection.
The net result is a virtually impenetrable barrier to
all ‘known’ viruses, reinforcing email security and
protecting valuable network resources. The use of Heuristic and
rules-based Skeptic scanning assists in the detection of viruses
before signature pattern updates become available, adding valuable
protection against newly released viral content.
